1 — Yona Friedman: Sculpting the Void

Visionary, someone would say utopian, but also sensitive to historical reality, Friedman is considered among the founding fathers of contemporary architecture. The show’s concept focuses on his last book “Untitled” and his vision. ‹‹I was often trying to define architecture as sculpting the void. Indeed, the material that makes architecture is penetrable empty space.”

Bringing together porcelains made from the 16th to 19th centuries, the exhibition explores the historical context, scope and impact of Chinese export porcelain. It illustrates how efficient they were in understanding, and tailoring to, taste and demand of each segment of the market.

9 — Massimo de Carlo: Tony Lewis - The Dangers (as far as I can see)

For this exhibition, the Tony Lewis is presenting a new body of work that is composed of a series of drawings, seemingly simple abstractions, which conceal intricate narratives, based on a nine-year examination of William F. Buckley Jr.’s argument from his famous 1965 debate with James Baldwin. It is worth it to go also to only check out the beautiful spaces of the palazzo at Piazza Belgioioso, around the corner of Via Montenapoleone.

Achille Perilli is an Italian painter and graphic artist. He is one of the most important representatives of abstract painting after the Second World War. Achille Perilli co-authored the Manifesto of Formalism in 1947: “Forma 1”, which opposed every form of figurative art and declared pure form to be the means and goal of art. Perilli's pictures often contain cubic forms that, when viewed closely and changing perspectives, prove to be multi-dimensional and multi-dimensional. He calls his art "geometrically irrational."

The exhibition takes its title from a new work written by M. Dean. «The End», a broken conversation of attempted echo synchrony between two voices. The public is invited to tear off the pages of the books on display and to take them away with them. Fondazione Converso is located in the deconsecrated church San Paolo Converso, which offers a very unique exhibition space for contemporary art beyond the typical white cube. The way they manage to create an interplay between contemporary art and baroque architecture is truly fascinating.

The exhibition brings together the works "Villaggio Cavatrulli" by Fabrizio Bellomo and "Sicilia 1" by Peter Fend, granted by the Pinksummer Contemporary Art gallery.
